My name is David E. Gaytan-Garcia, and I am a first-generation student attending the Milwaukee School of Engineering. As a dedicated student in their User Experience program, I am on track to earn my bachelor’s degree by 2027. Being the youngest of seven siblings and essentially the only son growing up has shaped my perspective in unique ways. Raised in a single-parent household, I learned the values of hard work and commitment early on, building in me a mindset that stands out among my peers.

‍ ‍I am driven by my purpose to contribute positively to the lives of others, a goal I pursue through both my volunteer efforts and the work I create. My work is grounded in research, shaped by data, and driven by a commitment to creating meaningful, accessible solutions. My ambition to succeed is inspired by my family, the presence of my brother Gustavo, and my best friend Devon Davis, who continue to live through me despite no longer being with us.
